Telstar
Telstar is the name of various communications satellites. The first two Telstar satellites were experimental and nearly identical. Telstar 1 was launched on top of a Thor-Delta rocket on July 10, 1962. It successfully relayed through space the first television pictures, telephone calls, fax images and provided the first live transatlantic television feed. Telstar 2 was launched May 7, 1963. Château de Tonquédec
The Château de Tonquédec is a castle in Brittany, France, and one of the most visited monuments in the département of the Côtes d'Armor. One of the most impressive French medieval sites, this château-fort, stands in a pleasant green forested countryside about 8.5 km south of Lannion. The present castle was built in the 15th century, on the site of an earlier 12th century castle.
