Telstar

Telstar is the name of various communications satellites. The first two Telstar satellites were experimental and nearly identical. Telstar 1 was launched on top of a Thor-Delta rocket on July 10, 1962. It successfully relayed through space the first television pictures, telephone calls, fax images and provided the first live transatlantic television feed. Telstar 2 was launched May 7, 1963. Telstar 1 and 2, though no longer functional, are still in orbit as of July 2012.

Jentilez

This group of islands is home to an important bird reserve, and is the home of various seabirds, including Northern Gannets, Cormorants, and members of the alcidae family. This is also a reserve for Grey Seals.

Gare de Lannion

Gare de Lannion is a railway station serving the town Lannion, Côtes-d'Armor department, western France. It is the northern terminus of the Plouaret–Lannion railway. The railway line between Plouaret and Lannion has been electrified in 2000. A new station has been built in Lannion.

Île Illiec

Île Illiec is a small island located off the coast of Port-Blanc, Brittany, France. In 1876, Ambrose Thomas constructed the three-storey house, chapel and conical tower that all currently stand on the island. Île Illiec was purchased by the American aviator Charles Lindbergh, following the kidnapping and murder of his son in 1932 and his subsequent move to Europe in 1936.
