Tironensian Order

The Tironensian Order or the Order of Tiron was a Roman Catholic monastic order named after the location of the mother abbey (Tiron Abbey, French: Abbaye de la Sainte-Trinité de Tiron, established in 1109) in the woods of Tiron (sometimes Thiron) in Perche, some 35 miles west of Chartres in France). Châteaudun Air Base

Châteaudun Air Base (French: Base aérienne 279 Châteaudun) is a French Air Force (French: Armée de l'Air base. The base is located approximately 3 miles southeast of Châteaudun; about 70 miles southwest of Paris. The base is primarily used for aircraft storage and ferrying them to other squadrons of the Air Force. EAA 601 is assigned to perform this mission.
