Arboretum national des Barres

The Arboretum national des Barres (35 hectares) is a national arboretum located in Nogent-sur-Vernisson, Loiret, Centre, France. It is open daily in the warmer months; an admission fee is charged. The Domaine des Barres (283 hectares) was purchased in 1821 by Philippe André de Vilmorin for his studies in forestry. Solin (river)

The Solin is a 31.3 km long river in the Loiret département, north-central France. Its source is at Le Moulinet-sur-Solin, 2 km south of the village. It flows generally north-northeast. It is a left tributary of the Loing, into which it flows at Châlette-sur-Loing.

Étang de la Gazonne

Étang de la Gazonne, (English: Grassy Pond), is a 29 ha lake that provides water for the workings of the Canal de Briare. Hugues Cosnier, designer of the canal, planned a 3.25 mile long waterway from the River Trezée to the Gazonne. Ouanne (river)

The Ouanne is an 84 km long river in central France, a right tributary of the Loing. Its source is near the small town Ouanne, about 20 km southwest of Auxerre. It flows generally northwest, and joins the Loing in Conflans-sur-Loing, near Amilly.
