Vescovato Cathedral

Vescovato Cathedral (Pro-cathédrale Saint-Martin de Vescovato), now the parish church of St. Martin in Vescovato, Corsica, was the seat of a Roman Catholic bishopric between 1440 and 1570. The Bishop of Mariana built the church here in 1380. After the church had been enlarged and ornamented in 1436 the seat of the diocese of Mariana was moved from its former location in Lucciana Cathedral to Vescovato in 1440. It was transferred in 1570 to Bastia Cathedral.

Chemins de Fer de la Corse

|} Chemins de Fer de la Corse (CFC) is the name of the regional rail network serving the French island of Corsica. It is centred on the town of Ponte-Leccia, from which three main lines radiate to Ajaccio, Bastia, and Calvi. The section following the northwest coastline between L'Île-Rousse and Calvi, known as the Balagne line, gives access to many beaches and is very popular with tourists.

Mariana, Corsica

Mariana is a Roman site south of Biguglia, in the Haute-Corse département of the Corsica région of south-east France. It lies in the littoral area known as La Marana, near the present town of Lucciana. There are several old churches in the area including the Church of Santa Maria Assunta and San Parteo Church.
