Roman Catholic Diocese of Ajaccio

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Ajaccio (Adjax or Ajax in Latin), is a diocese of the Latin Rite of the Roman Catholic church in France. The diocese comprises the whole of the island of Corsica. Erected in the 3rd century, the diocese was formerly a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Pisa. Since the French Concordat of 1801, the diocese has been a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Aix. Its first bishop known to history was Evander, who assisted at the Council of Rome in 313.

Musée Fesch

The musée Fesch is the central museum of fine arts in Ajaccio on Corsica. It is located in the town's Borgu d'Ajaccio quarter, in Palais Fesch on Rue Cardinal Fesch. It was set up by Napoleon I's uncle cardinal Joseph Fesch in Fesch's birthplace and includes one of France's finest collections of old masters and one of the most important Napoleonic collections.

Casa Buonaparte

Casa Buonaparte (French: La maison Bonaparte) is the ancestral home of the Bonaparte family. It is located on the Rue Saint-Charles in Ajaccio on the island of Corsica. The house was almost continuously owned by members of the family from 1682 to 1923.
