Battle of the Lisaine
The Battle of the Lisaine was fought from 15 January to 17 January 1871 between Prussian and French forces. The French were led by Charles Denis Bourbaki, and were attempting to relieve the Siege of Belfort. The Prussians prepared multiple corps, about 52000 men to halt the French advance of about 152000 men. The Prussian corps had their outer posts overran quite swiftly but the Prussians forced back the French forces.

Allaine
The Allaine (named Allan in its lower course) is a 65 km long river in northwestern Switzerland and eastern France. Its source is in the village Charmoille, in the Swiss Jura mountains. It is a left tributary of the Doubs, which it joins a few km downstream from Montbéliard. Musée de l'Aventure Peugeot
The Musée de l'Aventure Peugeot (Museum of the Peugeot Adventure) is a historical museum devoted to the Peugeot automobile business. The museum was founded by members of the Peugeot family, opening in 1988 across the road from the company’s huge industrial site at Sochaux in the Franche-Comté. The first Peugeot automobile was built in 1891, so the museum presents an unbroken view of the evolution of the Automotive industry virtually from its beginning.
