Rochechouart crater

Rochechouart is an impact crater in France. Its diameter is estimated to be about 21 km . Its most recent age estimate is 201 ±2 million years ago, placing it close to Triassic-Jurassic boundary. Since then the crater has been deeply eroded, and no trace of its original surface morphology is visible. The crater appears to be too small to account for the Triassic–Jurassic extinction event.

Château de Montbrun

There is another Château de Montbrun, a hotel, near Tours in Pays de Loire. The Château de Montbrun is a castle in the commune of Dournazac in the Haute-Vienne département of France. The castle was built in the 12th and 15th centuries, and was restored in the late 19th. The castle stands within a deep valley. Built in the 12th century, its function was to defend the borders of the Duchy of Aquitaine.
