Anglin

The Anglin is a 91 km long river in the Creuse, Indre and Vienne départements in central France. Its source is near Azerables. It flows generally northwest. It is a right tributary of the Gartempe into which it flows near Angles-sur-l'Anglin. Its main tributaries are the Salleron, the Abloux and the Benaize. The Anglin is one of France's few remaining "wild rivers" (rivers which have never been dammed).

Semme

The Semme is a 50.3 km long river in the Creuse and Haute-Vienne départements, central France. Its source is in Saint-Priest-la-Feuille. It flows generally west and is a right tributary of the Gartempe into which it flows near le Bouchard, a hamlet in the municipality of Droux.

Roc-aux-Sorciers

Roc-aux-Sorciers is an Upper Paleolithic rock shelter site dating to the mid-Magdalenian cultural stage, ca 14000 yBP, made famous by its relief wall carvings. The site is in the French commune of Angles-sur-l'Anglin, in Vienne. The name 'Sorcerers' Rock', with its suggestions of pagan rendez-vous, was applied to the site long before the wall-carvings were discovered.
