Corrèze (river)

The Corrèze is a 95 km long river in south-western France, left tributary of the river Vézère. Its source is in the north-western Massif Central. It flows south-west through the Corrèze département (named after the river) and the cities Tulle and Brive-la-Gaillarde. A few km after Brive-la-Gaillarde, the Corrèze flows into the Vézère.

Brive – La Roche Airport

Brive – La Roche Airport or Aérodrome de Brive - La Roche was an airport located 3.5 kilometres west of Brive-la-Gaillarde, a commune of the Corrèze department in the Limousin region of France. As of February 2011, the aerodrome is due for closure, and only accepts locally based planes. A new airport known as Brive – Souillac Airport or Brive - Dordogne Valley Airport opened on June 15, 2010.

Brive – Souillac Airport

Brive – Souillac Airport is an international airport located 13 kilometres south of Brive-la-Gaillarde, a commune of the Corrèze department in the Limousin region of France. Commercially called Brive – Dordogne Valley Airport (French: Aéroport de Brive – Vallée de la Dordogne), it replaces the older Brive – La Roche Airport . The official inauguration was on June 15, 2010. Its ICAO code LFSL was previously assigned to the military Toul-Rosières Air Base, closed since 2004.

Stade Amédée-Domenech

The Stade Amédée-Domenech is a multi-purpose stadium in Brive-la-Gaillarde, France. It is currently used mostly for rugby union matches and is the home stadium of CA Brive. The stadium is able to hold 16,000 people. Its official name was the Stadium until 2004, but it was called Stade Amedee-Domenech after the French international rugby player Amédée Domenech died in 2003. The Stade Amédée-Domenech is the theatre of the matches of the Brive rugby team since 1921. There were some interruptions.
