Musée du Président Jacques Chirac

The musée du Président Jacques Chirac (President Jacques Chirac museum), commonly known as musée du Septennat. It's a museum located in Sarran, in the French departement of Corrèze, in the Massif central, 30 km northeast of the city of Tulle. It houses the collection of objects offered to Jacques Chirac during his presidency, a library, a space for temporary exhibitions. It was inaugurated on December 15, 2000 by Jacques Chirac. The buildings was designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte.

Roman Catholic Diocese of Tulle

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Tulle comprises the whole département of Corrèze. Originally established in 1317, the diocese was suppressed by the Concordat of 1802, which joined it to the see of Limoges. In 1817, the diocese was theoretically re-established by the Concordat of 1817, and re-erected de facto by papal Bulls dated 6 and 31 October, 1822. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Poitiers. The current bishop is Bernard Louis Marie Charrier who was appointed in 2001.
