Jardin botanique de Gondremer

The Jardin botanique de Gondremer is a private botanical garden with national collections of rhododendrons and azaleas, kalmia, heathers, and Japanese maples, classified as a Jardin Remarquable by the French ministry of culture. Battle of Khotyn (1673)

The Battle of Khotyn or Battle of Chocim was a battle held on the 11 November 1673, where Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth forces under hetman Jan Sobieski defeated Ottoman Empire forces under Hussain Pasha. It reversed the fortunes of the previous year, when Commonwealth weakness led to the signing of the Peace of Buczacz, and allowed Jan Sobieski to win the upcoming royal election and became the king of Poland.

Château de Failloux

The Château de Failloux (Castle of Failloux) was built in the 18th century in northeastern France. It is located in the commune of Jeuxey in the Vosges département, France, a few kilometers from the historical center of Épinal. The castle takes its name from the local hamlet, Grande Failloux. Etymologically, the term "Failloux" derives from the unusual abundance of deciduous trees in an area generally dominated by coniferous trees.
