Jardin botanique d'Aubrac

The Jardin botanique d'Aubrac (300 m²) is a small botanical garden located in Saint-Chély-d'Aubrac, Aveyron, Midi-Pyrénées, France. It is open on weekends without charge. The garden was established in 1995 within the Domerie d'Aubrac, a former monastery hospital. It now contains more than 500 plants arranged in flowerbeds representing bog, forest, pasture, and rock garden environments. Each plant is labeled with its common and scientific names.

Château de Saint-Côme-d'Olt

The Château de Saint-Côme-d'Olt is a medieval castle in the commune of Saint-Côme-d'Olt in the Aveyron département of France. It was the residence of the lords of Calmont and Castenau and is now the town hall. The castle was built in the 14th century at the heart of the fortified town and was associated with the Castelnau family, owners of the area for at least seven centuries. It has been listed since 1999 as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.

Bonneval Abbey (Aveyron)

Aubrac

Aubrac is a town in the southern Massif Central of France. The name is also applied to the surrounding landscape, which is properly called L'Aubrac in French. The Aubrac region has been a member of the Natura 2000 network since August 2006. It straddles three départements - Cantal, Aveyron and Lozère - and three régions - Auvergne, Midi-Pyrénées and Languedoc-Roussillon.

Souveyrols lake

Souveyrols lake is a lake in Lozère, France on the Aubrac plateau. It has a glacial origin. Its surface area is 0.016 km². On his banks, grows the spectacular plant named Ligularia sibirica. This boreal species is usually present in Russia and Siberia and is very rare in Western Europe.
