Château de Montreuil-Bellay

The Château de Montreuil-Bellay is a historical building in the town of Montreuil-Bellay, département of Maine-et-Loire, France, first built on the site of a Gallo-Roman village high on a hill on the banks of the Thouet River. It is listed as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture. Trèves-Cunault

Trèves-Cunault is a former town in the department of Maine-et-Loire, France that existed from 1839 to 1973. It was originally created in 1839 by the merger of the towns of Trèves and Cunault. In 1973, it was merged with the town of Chênehutte-les-Tuffeaux to form the new town of Chênehutte-Trèves-Cunault.

Thouet

The Thouet is a tributary river of the Loire in the Poitou-Charentes and Pays de la Loire régions of France. The Thouet rises at Secondigny, close to the source of the Sèvre Nantaise, and joins the Loire just to the west of Saumur. It is 142 km long, and drains an area of 3,396 km . The river's name derives from the ancient Gallic word for tranquil.
