Salleron

The Salleron is a 51.8 km long river in the Haute-Vienne, Vienne and Indre départements, central France. Its source is several small streams which converge in a pond at Azat-le-Ris. It flows generally north. It is a left tributary of the Anglin into which it flows between Concremiers and Ingrandes.

La Marche (cave)

La Marche is a cave and archaeological site located in Lussac-les-Châteaux, a commune in the department of Vienne, western France. The carved etchings discovered there in 1937 show 15,000 year-old detailed depictions of humans. The cave paintings at this site are controversial and many doubt their authenticity.
