Château de Pontevès
The Château de Pontevès is a ruined castle in the commune of Pontevès in the Var département in Provence, southern France. The site is first recorded in a document in 1021 as the property of the monastery of Saint-Victoir in Marseille. Later, the lords of Pontevès progressively developed the site.
