Galaure

Château de l'Arthaudière

The Château de l'Arthaudière is a castle, later converted into a château, in the commune of Saint-Bonnet-de-Chavagne in the Isère département of France. It was the former seigniory of the Arthauds and of the La Porte. The castle is listed as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.

Port Revel

The Port Revel Shiphandling Training Centre is a French maritime pilotage school that trains pilots, masters, and officers on large ships like supertankers, container ships, LNG carriers and cruise ships . The facility uses manned models at a 1:25 scale on a man-made lake designed to simulate natural conditions including harbours, canals, and open seas. It was the first such facility in the world. The Centre was created in 1967 near Grenoble, (France) by Laboratoire Dauphinois d'Hydraulique.

Triors Abbey

Triors Abbey (Abbaye Notre-Dame de Triors) is a Benedictine monastery situated at Châtillon-Saint-Jean in the Drôme, Rhône-Alpes, France. It was founded in 1984 as a priory of Fontgombault Abbey in an 18th century château bequeathed to the monks for that purpose. Major building works took place from 1990. Triors was raised to the status of an independent abbey in 1994. The first abbot was Dom Hervé Courau, who continues in post. The community, as of 2008, numbers about 40.
