Les Saisies

Les Saises is a ski resort located in the Savoie départment of France. It is 30 km from Albertville, host of the 1992 Winter Olympics. For those games, the resort hosted the biathlon and cross-country skiing events. The resort also has alpine skiing trails for use. Fier (river)

The Fier is a 71.9 km long river in the Haute-Savoie and Savoie départements, southeastern France. Its source is at Manigod, in the Aravis Range. It flows generally west. It is a left tributary of the Rhone into which it flows at Seyssel. The Chéran is among its tributaries.

Chaise (river)

The Chaise, also known as the Monthoux, is a mountain river of eastern France. It flows through the departments Savoie and Haute-Savoie. It is a right tributary of the Arly which it joins in Ugine where, in the mid nineteenth century, it was crossed by a wooden bridge.
