Wildsee
The Wildsee is a small lake within a moor between Bad Wildbad and Gernsbach on top of the Northern Black Forest mountain range in southwestern Germany. The lake is fed by rain water. The area has a geological base of sandstone. The sandstone developed a rich brown soil, which originally allowed the European Beech to grow. In the later development of forestry, the Norway Spruce and European Pine were introduced. These three tree species can be found in the surroundings of the lake.

Falkenfelsen
The Falkenfelsen (Falcon Rock) is a granite rock formation in the northern Black Forest of Germany's Baden-Württemberg state. One side of the formation is a cliff about 200 feet high. From the Schwarzwaldhochstrasse (Black Forest Highway), two hiking trails lead through the formation and end at the shelter Herta-hut. The platform has a view over the northern Black Forest, with the Hornisgrinde in the south, Bühlerhöhe in the northeast and the valley of the Upper Rhine on the west.

Observation Tower Baden-Baden Merkur
The observation tower Baden-Baden Merkur is an observation tower on Mount Merkur near Baden-Baden, at 8°16'50" E and 48°45'52" N. The tower has been in use since April 8, 1950 by the former SWF (now SWR) as a transmission tower for FM-radio and, since 1953, television. At the end of the 1970s the tower was completely renovated and its radio equipment modified. An underground equipment room for radiotechnical equipment was built, and a new tower was constructed, adjoining the older tower.
