Pierre Pflimlin Bridge

The Pierre Pflimlin Bridge (Pont Pierre Pflimlin in French) is a 957 m long (main span 205 m) motorway bridge over the river Rhine between Germany and France, south of Strasbourg / Kehl. It is named after Pierre Pflimlin, a former French prime minister, and was opened in 2002. It was funded in cooperation between France, Germany and the European Union.

Stade de la Meinau

The Stade de la Meinau, commonly known as "'La Meinau"' is a football stadium in Strasbourg, France. It is the home ground of RC Strasbourg and has also hosted international matches, including one game of World cup 1938, two games of Euro 1984 and the final of the Cup Winners' Cup in 1988. La Meinau has also been used as a venue for concerts and a mass by John Paul II in 1988. The stadium is owned by the Strasbourg municipality and is rented by the RC Strasbourg.

Le Vaisseau

Le Vaisseau (The Vessel), situated in the Neudorf area of Strasbourg, France, is a project headed by the General Council of the Bas-Rhin and a place where science and technology can be discovered through playful ways and means. Although it is particularly geared towards children and young people aged between 3 and 15 years old, the Vaisseau also attracts families, schools, groups and tourists as well as businesses.

Marne–Rhine Canal

The Marne–Rhine Canal (French: Canal de la Marne au Rhin) is a canal in north eastern France. It connects the river Marne in Vitry-le-François with the Rhine in Strasbourg. Combined with the canalised part of the Marne, it allows transport between Paris and eastern France. The original objective of the canal was to connect Paris and the north of France with the Alsace, the Rhine, and Germany. The 313 km long canal was opened in 1853.
