The Augustana-Hochschule Neuendettelsau is a divinity school of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria in Neuendettelsau, Germany. Ansbach school attack

The Ansbach school attack occurred on 17 September 2009, at the Carolinum Gymnasium in Ansbach, Germany. The attacker Georg R. , a 19-year-old man whom the BBC reports as a former student, entered the school that morning armed with petrol bombs and an axe. At least nine people were injured in the attack, at least one of them seriously. A Nuremberg police spokesman stated that all the wounded are eight-graders.
