Schwäbische Rezat

The Schwäbische Rezat is a river in southern Germany. It is the southern, right source river of the Rednitz. It rises in the Franconian Jura hills, near Weißenburg in Bayern. It flows generally north through the towns Weißenburg in Bayern, Ellingen and Pleinfeld. It flows into the Rednitz in Georgensgmünd.

Franconian Lake District

Frankonian Lake District is in the south-west of Nuremberg in the country of Germany. It resulted from one of Germany"s largest water management projects and was completed by the flooding of Lake Brombach in 2000.

Roth Air Base

Roth Air Base is located 4 kilometres south of the city of Roth in Bavaria, Germany. Planning for a base for the nascent Luftwaffe near Roth started in the mid-1930s. Building works not only for an air base but also for regular barracks started in 1937 and were completed in 1938. The first unit to occupy the base was a pilot training school relocated from Landsberg Air Base near Penzing. During World War II, a number of Luftwaffe fighter wings were stationed at Roth.

Roth (district)

Roth is a district in Bavaria, Germany. It is bounded by (from the northeast and clockwise) the districts of Nürnberger Land, Neumarkt, Eichstätt, Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen, Ansbach and Fürth, and the cities of Schwabach and Nuremberg. In medieval times the region was ruled by many lords. Brandenburg-Ansbach and Nuremberg owned possessions in this territory, and other parts were property of clerical states. When these clerical states were dissolved in 1803, the district fell to Bavaria.
