Monheim Town Hall

The Monheim Town Hall is a historical building in Monheim, Bavaria, southern Germany, now owned by the city's council. The building, constructed from 1714 to 1720 for a rich Jewish merchant, the Court Jew Abraham Elias Model, is most notable for its ceilings, displaying motifs from the Old Testament, or Tanakh, which were restored in 1978 and 1994 respectively.

Bürgermeister-Müller-Museum

The Bürgermeister-Müller-Museum is a natural history museum in Solnhofen, Germany. It was founded in 1954, when the mayor Friedrich Mueller brought his private collection to the public. The museum collection, which extends over two floors, mainly consists of fossils from the Solnhofen Plattenkalk and includes pterosaurs, one of the eleven known specimens of the Jurassic bird Archaeopteryx and an extensive collection of fossil fish.

Pappenheim (state)

Pappenheim was a German statelet in western Bavaria, Germany, located on the Altmühl river between Treuchtlingen and Solnhofen, and south of Weißenburg. Pappenheim originated as a Lordship around 1030, and was raised to a county in 1628. Pappenheim was partitioned twice: between itself, Aletzheim, Gräfenthal and Treutlingen in 1439; and between itself and Stühlingen in 1558. Pappenheim absorbed: Aletzheim 1697; Gräfenthal 1536; and Treutlingen 1647.

Treuchtlingen station

Treuchtlingen station is now the only station in the town of Treuchtlingen in the German state of Bavaria. The town used also to have stations at Graben, Möhren, Gundelsheim and Wettelsheim. Treuchtlingen station has seven platform tracks and it is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 3 station. The station is served by about 110 trains daily operated by DB Regio and DB long-distance.
