Schermützelsee

The Schermützelsee is a lake in Brandenburg, Germany. It is located in the town of Buckow in the district Märkisch-Oderland northwest of Müncheberg and 45 km east of the Berlin centre. With its surface area of 1.37 km² it is the largest water in the hill country „Märkische Schweiz“ and in the Märkische Schweiz Nature Park. At an elevation of 26,5 m, its depth is maximal 38 m. The lake is fed by the Sophienfließ and groundwater.

Märkische Schweiz Nature Park is a nature park and reserve in the district Märkisch-Oderland, state Brandenburg, Germany. It covers an area of 204 km² (79 sq mi). It was established on October 1, 1990 and is located east of Berlin. The central river of the park is the Stobber. With a surface area of 1.37 km² the Schermützelsee is its largest lake.

Sophienfließ

Sophienfließ is a river in the hill country „Märkische Schweiz“ and the Märkische Schweiz Nature Park, District Märkisch-Oderland, Brandenburg, Germany. The stream runs over a distance of approximately 10 kilometers. The water passes across the Schermützelsee and the Werderfließ to the Buckowsee, who is flown through by the river Stobber.
