Spiegelbach

The Spiegelbach is a river in the southern Palatinate. It arises as a diversion of the Queich, which rises in the Palatinate forest, and thus has no separate source. It flows into the Rhine at Sondernheim. After a devastating flood in 1745, in which the mills on the Altbach and Brühlgraben were flooded, it was decided to create a diversion from the Queich towards Bellheim, in order to provide the newly built mills with a steady supply of water.

Holiday Park, Germany

Holiday Park is an amusement park in Haßloch, Germany. It is one of Germany's most popular theme parks (receiving about a million visitors per year) and is part park and part woodland. Its Free Fall Tower was the first amusement ride of its kind in Europe. The Park also offers several roller coasters, including Expedition GeForce, a waterpark, and live shows.

Expedition GeForce

Expedition GeForce is a steel roller coaster located at Holiday Park in Haßloch, Germany. It is one of the largest roller coasters in Europe and has an 82 degree first drop. The trains travel up to 120 kilometres per hour through a course 1.2 kilometres long with seven periods of weightlessness. At its highest, the ride reaches 53 metres above ground. Until the opening of Silver Star at Europa Park, it was the tallest roller coaster operating on the European mainland.

Germersheim station

Germersheim station is a junction station in the south of the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station. It is the terminus of lines S3, S4 and S33 of the Rhine-Neckar S-Bahn and the terminus of lines S51 and S52 of the Karlsruhe Stadtbahn. The station lies on the Schifferstadt–Wörth line and the Bruhrain Railway to Graben-Neudorf and Bruchsal. Until 1984 it was the terminus of the Lower Queich Valley Railway from Landau.
