Bist (river)

The Bist is a river in France and in Germany, and a 26.3 kilometres left tributary of the Saar. The Bist begins near the French village of Boucheporn, Lorraine and flows northeastward to Creutzwald. From there it follows the France-Germany border northward 3 kilometres to Überherrn, then flows eastward to Werbeln and northward to join the Saar immediately north of the Autobahn 620 bridge in Wadgassen, Saarland. The Saar is a tributary of the Moselle, which is a tributary of the Rhine

Völklingen Ironworks

The Völklingen Ironworks is located in the German town of Völklingen, Saarland. In 1994, it was declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. It is an anchor point of the European Route of Industrial Heritage (ERIH).
