Malstatt-Burbach

Malstatt-Burbach joined the former Saarbrücken (now called Alt-Saarbrücken) and Sankt Johann to form the present city of Saarbrücken in 1909. Malstatt received municipal rights in 1321. These, however, were afterwards resigned to the newer town of Saarbrücken, and in 1818 Malstatt and Burbach were two small villages with a joint population of only about 800.

Saarlandhalle

Saarlandhalle is a building in Saarbrücken, Germany. It has a capacity of around 6,500 people. It has hosted concerts by many famous artists, including a-ha, AC/DC, Chris De Burgh, Depeche Mode, Bob Dylan, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Sting and Uriah Heep, among others. Since the introduction of the new stage set in 2001, the hall is too small to host televised concerts.
