Żarka nad Nysą is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Pieńsk, within Zgorzelec County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, close to the German border. Prior to 1945 it belonged to Germany and bore the name Sercha ['zɛrça 'zɛrça] except for the years 1937 to 1945 AD, when it was called Burgundenau [bur'gundenʔaʊ̯ bur'gundenʔaʊ̯].
