Eichsfeld
The Eichsfeld is a historical region in the southeast of Lower Saxony (which is called "Untereichsfeld" = lower Eichsfeld) and northwest of Thuringia ("Obereichsfeld" = upper Eichsfeld) in the south of the Harz mountains.
