Tamale Airport

Tamale Airport is an airport serving Tamale, a town in the Northern Region of Ghana. The Tamale Airport has now been upgraded to the status of an international airport, with all the necessary facilities. It gained international status in December 2008. The facilities put in place include, the construction of a run-way, taxi ways and aprons, a terminal, a modified fire service building, rehabilitation of the tower building, a car park and a VVIP lounge.

Savelugu

Savelugu is a town in the Northern region of Ghana and it is the capital of Savelugu-Nanton district. The town is known for the Savelugu Secondary School. The school is a second cycle institution. Savelugu is the forty-fifth most populous in Ghana, in terms of population, with a population of 38,074 people. At the Ghana census of 26 March 2000 there were 24,937 inhabitants living in the town. Projections of 1 January 2007 estimated the population to be 30,529 inhabitants.
