The 1999 Athens earthquake, registering a moment magnitude of 6.0, occurred on September 7, 1999, at 2:56:50 pm local time and lasted approximately 15 seconds in Ano Liosia. The tremor was epicentered approximately 17 km to the northwest of the city center, in a sparsely populated area between the working-class town of Acharnes and the Mount Parnitha National Park.

Aspropyrgos railway station

Aspropyrgos Railway Station (Greek: Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Ασπροπύργου, Sidirodromikos Stathmos Aspropyrgou) is a railway station in the municipality of Aspropyrgos, located northwest of Athens, Greece. The station is located north of the residential area. It opened on 18 July 2006 and is located near the planned Thriasian Plain freight yard owned by OSE. It has two platforms.

Fyli Municipal Stadium

Fyli Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Fyli northeastern corner of the West Attica regional unit, Greece. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Thrasyvoulos F.C.. The stadium holds 4,000 and was built in 1989.

Archaeological Museum of Eleusis

The Archeological Museum of Eleusis is a museum in Eleusis, Attica, Greece. The museum is located inside the archaeological site of Eleusis. Built in 1890, by the plans of the German architect Kaverau, to keep the findings of the excavations, and after two years (1892) was extended under the plans of the Greek architect J. Mousis.

Hellenic Coast Guard

The Hellenic Coast Guard (Greek Λιμενικό Σώμα-Ελληνική Ακτοφυλακή - Limeniko Soma-Elliniki Aktofylaki - lit. "Harbor Corps-Hellenic Coast Guard") is the national coast guard of Greece. Like most other coast guards, it is a paramilitary organization that can support the Hellenic Navy in wartime, but resides under separate civilian control in times of peace. It was founded in 1919 by an Act of Parliament (N. 1753/1919) and the legal framework for its function was reformed in 1927.
