Battle of Yenidje
The Battle of Yenidje or Yenice, also Battle of Giannitsa (Greek: Μάχη των Γιαννιτσών), was a battle between the Greek Army and the Ottoman Army on October 20 (O.S. ) / November 2, 1912, during the First Balkan War. The Greek Army defeated the Ottomans, opening the way towards Thessaloniki and capturing Yenidje (now Giannitsa).

Sotira, Pella
Sotira (Greek: Σωτήρα, is a community of the municipality of Edessa in Pella regional unit, Greece. It is situated in the north of the city of Edessa, at the edges of Mount Borras . Its permanent indigenous population is estimated at up to two hundred inhabitants, who are usually working as farmers or cattle-breeders. The village, mainly because of its suitability of climate, was chosen as the perfect place to locate a mountain campsite, later known as "Sotira's campsite".

A village in Petrich Municipality, Blagoevgrad Province, Bulgaria, is named Novo Konomladi (Bulgarian: Ново Кономлади, "New Konomladi"). This is because it was mostly populated by Bulgarian refugees from Makrochori who moved to Bulgaria after the Balkan Wars of 1912–1913.
