Pallene, Chalcidice
For other Pallenes, see Pallene. Pallene is the ancient name of the westernmost of the three headlands of Chalcidice, which run out into the Aegean Sea. Its modern name is Kassandra Peninsula (Χερσόνησος Κασσάνδρας). It is said to have anciently borne the name of Phlegra (Φλέγρα) and to have witnessed the conflict between the gods and the earthborn Gigantes.

Kalandra
Kalandra is a small town on Kassandra, the westernmost peninsula of Chalkidiki. In ancient Greece it was the site of the town of Mende, one of the many colonies in Chalkidiki founded by Chalcis, the main city on the island of Euboia. Mende was also the birthplace of the sculptor Paeionius, (also Paionios), who made a statue of Nike, which was put on top of the victory pillar in Olympia, and is currently in the Archaeological Museum of Olympia. There was also a temple of Poseidon.

Kassandreia
Kassandreia is a town in Chalkidiki, northern Greece. It is the seat of the municipality of Kassandra, in the center of the peninsula. Relatively unknown because of its zero tourist attraction but full of life in winter. Known in Greece for being the smallest town with a football team playing for the Beta Ethniki (managed to take the 4th place) and for the high debt the municipality was in at the start of the 2000s.

Porto Carras
Porto Carras, known as Porto Carras Grand Resort, is one of northern Greece's largest and most famous hotels and holiday resorts. It is located on Sithonia, Chalkidiki peninsula in northern Greece. It is about 120 km away from Greece's second biggest city, Thessaloniki. Porto Carras was created by Yiannis Carras, a Greek businessman and ship-owner. Originally it was planned with the renowned architect Walter Gropius, but the construction works started posthumously in 1973.

Neos Marmaras (New Marmara) is a village on the Sithonia peninsula, in the Chalkidiki peninsula, Greece. In 2001, Neos Marmaras had 2,854 residents, the summer-time population has been estimated at 20,000. Situated on three shoreline hills, below the two mountains, Itamos and Tragoudeli (singing mountain). The main industries are tourism, agriculture (olives, wine, and honey), and fishing. Neos Marmaras is located 125 kilometres from Thessaloniki, and 55 kilometres from Poligyro.
