Lygkos
Lygkos, also transliterated as Lyngos or Lygos, is a remote mountain range in the eastern Ioannina and the western Grevena regional unit in northwestern Greece. It is a part of the Pindus mountain range. Its highest point is the Avgo, at 2,177 m elevation. The Lygkos mountains lie in a horseshoe shape around the Valia Kalda (Βάλια Κάλντα) valley, which exits towards the Aoos valley to the west. The Valia Kalda is part of the Pindus-Valia Kalda National Park, founded in 1966.

Gyftokampos
Gyftokampos is an area ιn the Zagori region, 58 km north of Ioannina. Its name is derived from the Greek "gyftos" (γύφτος), gypsy and "kampos" that means "field", and could be rendered in English translation as "gypsy lea". There used to be a hamlet called Nouka on this location which was also used by the Sarakatsani as pasture grounds. The area, located at the base of Mt Tymfi, has traditionally belonged to the village of Skamneli and it forms part of the municipality of Tymfi.

Lake Ioannina (Greek: Λίμνη Ιωαννίνων Limni Ioanninon), also Pamvotida or Pamvotis is the largest lake of Epirus, located in the central part of the Ioannina regional unit in northern Greece. Ioannina to the west and the town of Perama to the north are urban settlements fringing the lake while the remaining of its periphery is composed of farmland. The lake features small fishing ports and a boating port. There is a regular boat service to the Ioannina Island.

The Municipal Ethnographic Museum of Ioannina is a museum in Ioannina, Greece. It is housed in the Aslan Pasha Mosque, also known as the Mosque of Ali Pasha, in the Old Castle (Kastro) of Ioannina since 1933. The Mosque was built in 1618 and in 1993 it was renovated to its present form.
