Greek National Road 6

Greek National Road 6 (Greek: Εθνική Οδός 6, abbreviated as EO6) is a single carriageway road in north-central Greece. It begins at the port of Igoumenitsa and ends at Volos, passing through the towns Ioannina, Metsovo, Trikala and Larissa. The section between Metsovo and Volos is part of the European route E92. It has junctions with the GR-18, GR-5, GR-20, GR-15, GR-3 and GR-30, and also with the A2 (Egnatia Odos) and A1 motorways.

Katara Pass

The Katara Pass or Metsovo Pass (Greek: Πέρασμα της Κατάρας) is a mountain pass in the Pindus mountains in northern Greece. It is 5 km northeast of the town Metsovo. Situated on the border of Epirus and Thessaly, it forms the divide between the river basins of the Aoos to the southwest and the Pineios to the east. Its elevation is about 1,705 m making it one of the highest in the nation. The Greek National Road 6 crosses the Katara Pass.

Neraidochori

Neraidochori, is a small mountain village in the municipal unit Aithikes, Trikala regional unit, Greece. It is situated at an altitude of 1,100 metres on the central part of the Pindos mountain range. Neraidochori is only 5 km away from the nearby Ski resort of Pertouli and only 2,5 km from Pertouli. Neraidochori has many Byzantine monuments and also have a stone bridge over the river.

Pertouli

Pertouli is a small mountain village within the province of Trikala in Greece and is situated at an altitude of 1,150 metres on the central part of the Pindos mountain range. The name Pertouli is most famous for the nearby Ski resort that is very popular with snow sports fans in central Greece. According to the official resort website the ski runs start at 1,170m and the highest point is at 1,340m altitude. The longest run has a distance of 1,500 metres.
