Pigi is a large village in the Trikala regional unit, Thessaly, Greece. It is 9 kilometers (ca. 5–6 miles) west from Trikala on the National road of Trikala-Arta. Rizoma is a village in the Trikala regional unit, Thessaly, Greece. In the 2001 census it reported 1380 residents. It lies at 160 meters above sea level, 12 km north of the city of Trikala. It has an agricultural economy with tobacco being the main product. The village is the seat of the Paralithaioi municipal unit and it is inhabited by Karagounides, the most commonly used name for the residents of the Thessalian plain.

Pertouli
Pertouli is a small mountain village within the province of Trikala in Greece and is situated at an altitude of 1,150 metres on the central part of the Pindos mountain range. The name Pertouli is most famous for the nearby Ski resort that is very popular with snow sports fans in central Greece. According to the official resort website the ski runs start at 1,170m and the highest point is at 1,340m altitude. The longest run has a distance of 1,500 metres.
