Greek National Road 6 (Greek: Εθνική Οδός 6, abbreviated as EO6) is a single carriageway road in north-central Greece. It begins at the port of Igoumenitsa and ends at Volos, passing through the towns Ioannina, Metsovo, Trikala and Larissa. The section between Metsovo and Volos is part of the European route E92. It has junctions with the GR-18, GR-5, GR-20, GR-15, GR-3 and GR-30, and also with the A2 (Egnatia Odos) and A1 motorways.

Milea, Grevena
Milea (Greek: Μηλέα; also Milia) is a village in the municipali unit of Irakleotes, Grevena, Greece. The population is 306. The village's original position has changed in the early '70s, when it was completely abandoned due to soil instability. The aforementioned village is now called Palia Milea (Greek: Παλιά Μηλέα, which means Old Milea) and it maintains its original architecture where stone is the prevailing material.

Katara Pass
The Katara Pass or Metsovo Pass (Greek: Πέρασμα της Κατάρας) is a mountain pass in the Pindus mountains in northern Greece. It is 5 km northeast of the town Metsovo. Situated on the border of Epirus and Thessaly, it forms the divide between the river basins of the Aoos to the southwest and the Pineios to the east. Its elevation is about 1,705 m making it one of the highest in the nation. The Greek National Road 6 crosses the Katara Pass.
