Puerto San José

Puerto San José is a city on Guatemala's Pacific Ocean coast, in the department of Escuintla. It contains about 20,000 people, making it the largest place along the Pacific coast of Guatemala. It was the Pacific port for Guatemala, but this was superseded in the 20th century by Puerto Quetzal, a few kilometers to the east of the town. The Puerto Quetzal complex is the major employer in the town. The local tourist industry caters largely for weekenders from Guatemala City.

San José is a small town where the weather is usually hot. It is a municipality in the Escuintla department of Guatemala. The municipal seat is the port city of Puerto San José the old port. The municipality also contains Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala's main Pacific Ocean port.

Auto Safari Chapin

Auto Safari Chapín is an animal park near Escuintla, Guatemala. It is among the attractions in this region. The park features several spots: a drive-through area, a pedestrian area and a recreation area with restaurants and a swimming pool.
