Cara Sucia (Mesoamerican site)

Cara Sucia is a Mesoamerican archaeological site in western El Salvador. The site was first settled in the Preclassic period and was finally abandoned around AD 900, in the Terminal Classic, when the Pipil people moved into the region, although there is no evidence of Pipil occupation at the site.

Pasaco

Pasaco is a municipality in the Jutiapa department of Guatemala, located near the Pacific Ocean on the Border with El Salvador. It was originally formed when a group of Aztecs broke off at the arrival of Hernán Cortés, and went further south into what is now Guatemala (then Coahtemalan, or The Land of Abundance, in a Mayan dialect).

Cara Sucia River

Cara Sucia River is a river of El Salvador. It arises in the foothills of the Parque National El Imposible and flows westward through the area of Cara Sucia in the Ahuachapán Department region to a bay near El Zapote.
