Las Cruces, El Petén
Las Cruces is a municipality in the northern Guatemalan department of El Petén. It is situated at 130 meter above sea level at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:16|38|10|N|90|11|02|W|type:landmark_region:GT |primary |name=Las Cruces }}. The municipality was founded in 2011 when it split off from the territory of La Libertad.

La Corona
La Corona is the name given by archaeologists to an ancient Maya court residence in Guatemala's Petén department that was discovered in 1996, and later identified as the long-sought "Site Q", the source of a long series of unprovenanced limestone reliefs of exceptional artistic quality. The site's Classical name appears to have been Sak-Nikte' ('White-Flower').

La Amelia
La Amelia is a Pre-Columbian Maya archaeological site near Itzan, in the lower Pasión River region of the Petén Department of Guatemala. It formed a polity in the Late Classic (AD 600 to 830), and was involved in the war between Tikal and Calakmul followed, in 650, by the take over of Dos Pilas, leading to centuries of war until this region collapsed around 830, being the first of the Classic sites in this area to be abandoned.

El Rosario National Park
El Rosario National Park is located in El Petén, Guatemala, on the eastern edge of the town of Sayaxché. . The park is named after laguna El Rosario, a small lake within its boundaries, and was formerly a state owned finca managed by the National Forestry Institute (INAB). In 1980 it was declared a national park. The park covers an area of 11.05 km², including El Rosario lake which has a surface area of 4 ha in the dry season, though it is considerably larger during the rainy season.

Arroyo de Piedra
Arroyo de Piedra is a pre-Columbian Maya archaeological site in Guatemala located approximately 2-3 km east/northeast of Dos Pilas and 3 km west of Tamarindito. The site dates to the middle half of the Classic period. While initially a center of some regional importance, with the rise of Dos Pilas, Arroyo de Piedra was subsumed as a secondary center within the Petexbatun region.
