Estadio David Ordoñez Bardales

The Estadio Municipal David Alfonso Ordóñez Bardales is a football stadium located in Zacapa, Guatemala. It is home to club Deportivo Zacapa (Los Gallos). It has a capacity of 8,100 spectators. It opened in 1951 and it was formerly known as Estadio Valentín del Cid.

Zacapa

Zacapa is a city in eastern Guatemala, along the Río Grande de Zacapa. It is renowned locally for its manual crafting of cigars, hard dry cheese and a flavored cake made with said cheese (Quezadilla).

Estanzuela

Estanzuela is a municipality in the Guatemalan department of Zacapa. It is a small town. Estanzuela was a passing place for Spaniards looking to go farther west to the ocean. A group of these Spaniards decided to rest for a while, and thought Estanzuela to be the perfect location. As they went through the surroundings they saw that it was good land to harvest, so they decided to stay. At first it was called "La Estancia".

Jocotán

Jocotán is a municipality in the Chiquimula department of Guatemala. This town is the location of Radio Chortis, a Roman Catholic radio station funded by Belgian and German Catholics. It broadcasts primarily in Spanish, but there are a few hours a week in the Chortis language, which is still spoken in some isolated areas.
