Mainstay Lake

Mainstay Lake is a lake in the Pomeroon-Supenaam Region of Guyana, near the Atlantic coast, northwest of the mouth of the Essequibo River, 19 km north of Adventure. There is a half-mile stretch of white sand at the edge of the lake. A resort has been built next to the lake, a forty-five minute journey by car inland from Anna Regina, or through the resort on a twenty-minute flight from Georgetown to the resort’s airstrip. Mainstay Lake hosts an annual regatta.

Anna Regina Multilateral

Anna Regina Multilateral School is a secondary school which was established in 1973 in Anna Regina, Essequibo. It is one of only two boarding schools in Guyana, the other one being the President's College.

Anna Regina

Anna Regina is the capital of the Pomeroon-Supenaam Region of Guyana. It stands on the Atlantic coast, northwest of the mouth of the Essequibo River, 19 km north of Adventure. Anna Regina was established as a town in 1970. Its population was 12,448 in 2002. Anna Regina has a market, a community centre and a secondary school. In June 2009 Republic Bank Guyana Limited established a branch in the town. A number of sites in Anna Regina have historical significance.

Suddie

Suddie is a community in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, located on the Atlantic Ocean coast at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:7|7|0|N|58|28|58.8|W|region:GY |primary |name= }}, 1 mile north of Onderneeming. Suddie Hospital is a small (approximately 100-bed) hospital. Rural outreach clinics are sent into the interior and along the Essequibo River from Suddie Hospital. Suddie also has a market. A High Court was opened in 2005. Churches include St Anne's Anglican Church.
