Chippagiri

Chippagiri is a mandal in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, India. There is a granite hillock on the northern side of the town. Utilising the granite a cluster of temples, in the Vijayanagara Style of Architecture was built. Hence the place was known as Shilpagiir; Hillock of art and architecture. Its corrupt form is Chipagiri. There is a well with granite stone boundaries. That is misused and put disuse. It goes dry after the rainy season.

Guntakal

Guntakal is a town in Anantapur district in the southwestern part of the state of Andhra Pradesh and 50 km away from Bellary of Karnataka, India. It has a population of 1,26,658 (2001 census). In 1963, experts have identified Guntakal station, the hub of Meter Gauge / Broad Gauge movements in several directions, as a natural and ideal location for the Guntakal Railway Division of South Central Railway.

SKP Degree College

Sri Kanyaka Parameshwari (SKP) Degree College, located in Guntakal in the sate of Andhra Pradesh, India, is a co-educational institute, run by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The college was established in 1968 and is regarded as the second biggest college of Anantpur district. SKP Govt.
