Kolkewadi Dam
Kolkewadi Dam or Kolkiwadi Dam is a dam located in the Konkan region, Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra, India. It is located in Kolkiwadi, three kilometres near the village of Alore, near Chiplun. The dam is part of the Koyna Hydroelectric Project. It contributes in the 3rd stage of power generation of the Koyna Hydroelectric Project. The electricity is generated in the underground power station located at the base of the dam.

The Kumbharli Ghat is a mountain pass in Maharashtra, India cutting across the Western Ghats range. It connects the coastal Ratnagiri District Konkan region of Maharashtra with the Satara District Desh region on the Deccan plateau. It is one of few link roads between the Konkan and Ghatmaatha in Maharashtra. The road, a state highway, is at an average elevation of 625 m .
