North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology

North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (or NERIST) is a science and technology oriented higher education institute in Nirjuli, Itanagar, in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Rajiv Gandhi University

Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) (Hindi: राजीव गांधी विश्वविद्यालय) earlier known as Arunachal University, established in 1984, is the oldest university in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. The foundation stone for the university was laid by the then Prime Minister of India Late Smt. Indira Gandhi. Before the inception of Rajiv Gandhi University, colleges of Arunachal Pradesh were affiliated to North Eastern Hill University, Shillong.
