Hondh-Chillar massacre

The Hondh-Chillar massacre refers to the killings of at least 32 Sikhs on November 2, 1984 in a village in the Rewari district of Haryana, by the Indian National Congress as part of the 1984 anti-Sikh pogroms. The local police did not intervene in the massacre, pursue a First information report filed by survivors or help resettle the survivors. The mass graves at the massacre were rediscovered in January 2011. A similar massacre occurred in nearby Pataudi.

Jatusana

Jatusana is a village and block of Rewari district in Haryana. Currently Hoshiyar Singh from Balmiki Samaj is the Sarpanch of Jatusana During the old times it was known as 'JATU-THANA', a one of the biggest and powerful THANA (Police Station) of Punjab (Because Haryana was itself in Punjab at that time) during 18th and till Mid 19th Century. The area was of Jats communities in majority just because of that it becomes Jatusana later on.

Pataudi

Pataudi is a town in Gurgaon district in the Indian state of Haryana. It is located 26 kilometres from Gurgaon, at the foot hills of the Aravali hills. Pataudi Road is included as the new growth corridors in Gurgaon. Pataudi was the seat of Pataudi State which was ruled by the Nawabs of Pataudi. The 8th Nawab, Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi, played cricket for both England and India and captained the latter. His son the 9th Nawab also captained the Indian cricket team.

Rewari Junction railway station

Rewari railway junction (Hindi: रेवाड़ी जंक्शन रेलवे स्टेशन), station code RE, is a major railway station of the Indian Railways serving the city of Rewari in the Indian state of Haryana. It is in the Jaipur Division of the North Western Railway zone and lies on the Delhi-Ajmer-Ahmedabad route. Six railway lines branch out from this railway station. The seventh railway line from Rewari will be laid as a dedicated freight railway line as a part of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor.).
