Pataudi

Pataudi is a town in Gurgaon district in the Indian state of Haryana. It is located 26 kilometres from Gurgaon, at the foot hills of the Aravali hills. Pataudi Road is included as the new growth corridors in Gurgaon. Pataudi was the seat of Pataudi State which was ruled by the Nawabs of Pataudi. The 8th Nawab, Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi, played cricket for both England and India and captained the latter. His son the 9th Nawab also captained the Indian cricket team.

Dharuhera

Dharuhera is a census town in Rewari tehsil of Rewari district in the state of Haryana, India. Dharuhera comes under Delhi NCR region and it is an industrial hub. It was founded by Choudhary Nand Ram, a Yaduvanshi Ahir ruler of Rewari. The family of Rao Sahibs are dominant in terms of the size of land holdings since its foundation, also referred to as zaildar/ zamindar in the town. Dharuhera is included as the new growth corridors in Gurgaon.

Battle of Panchgaon

The Battle of Panchgaon was a battle in 1775 for accession of throne of the Nagpur Kingdom. It was between the brothers Mudhoji and Sabaji, occurring after the death of their brother Janoji. The closing scene of the contest of the throne between Mudhoji and Sabaji was on the battlefield of Panchgaon, six miles south of Nagpur. The fortune of the day had declared for Sabaji, and Mudhoji was being surrounded by his brother's troops.

Patli-Hajipur

Patli-Hajipur is a moderate sized village situated 7 kilometres from Frarrukhnagar in Gurgaon district of Haryana, India. It is a Jat dominated village with Dhankhar and Gurawalia gotra of Jats. Hondh-Chillar massacre

The Hondh-Chillar massacre refers to the killings of at least 32 Sikhs on November 2, 1984 in a village in the Rewari district of Haryana, by the Indian National Congress as part of the 1984 anti-Sikh pogroms. The local police did not intervene in the massacre, pursue a First information report filed by survivors or help resettle the survivors. The mass graves at the massacre were rediscovered in January 2011. A similar massacre occurred in nearby Pataudi.
