Bhiwani district is one of the 21 districts of Haryana state in northern India. Bhiwani was created on 22 December 1972. The district headquarter is situated in Bhiwani town. The district occupies an area of 5,140 square kilometres . It is situated between 28.19 deg. & 29.05 deg. north latitudes and 75.26 deg. and 76.28 deg. east longitudes. It has 442 villages with a population of 1,425,022. The district headquarters is the city of Bhiwani, which is around 124 kilometres from Delhi.

Bhiwani

Bhiwani is a city and a municipal council in Bhiwani district in the state of Haryana, India. It is known as the city of temples and often termed as "Choti Kashi". Besides being a seat of spiritual learning, the city has been the centerstage of regional politics. The city is hometown to three of Haryana's chief ministers: Bansi Lal, Banarsi Dass Gupta and Hukum Singh. District Bhiwani was created on 22 December 1972. The district headquarters is situated in Bhiwani town.

Charkhi Dadri mid-air collision

The 1996 Charkhi Dadri mid-air collision occurred on 12 November 1996 over the village of Charkhi Dadri, to the west of New Delhi, India. The aircraft involved were Saudi Arabian Airlines Flight 763 (SVA763), a Boeing 747-168B en route from New Delhi to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and Kazakhstan Airlines Flight 1907 (KZA1907), an Ilyushin Il-76TD en route from Shymkent, Kazakhstan, to New Delhi.

Param Sant Huzur Kanwar Saheb ji Maharaj, born on March 2, 1948, is the present master of Radha Swami Satsang, Dinod. His mother being one interested in spiritual activities, inspired him to travel to Dinod Ashram at the age of thirty. His very first meet with his Master Param Sant Tarachand, resulted in him being told he shall not return to his home and declared that he will die in the Dinod Ashram.

Sant Tarachand

Param Sant Tarachand ji Maharaj, popularly known as Bade Maharaj ji was born in a poor family in Dinod village of Haryana state. His spiritual cravings were very intense and started his search for the Supreme creator at early age of six. He liked the company of the mystics and saints very much. He visited almost all prominent mystics of his time. To achieve his Supreme goal he did not even enter into marriage institution and remained celibate for whole life.
