Manasbal Lake

Manasbal Lake is located in the Jhelum valley, north of Srinagar city in the State of Jammu and Kashmir in India. The name Manasbal is said to be a derivative of the Lake Manasarovar. Lake is encircled by three villages viz. , Jarokbal, Kondabal (also called Kiln place, is situated on the north-eastern side of the lake) and Ganderbal and is stated to be the deepest lake in the Kashmir valley.

Muskroot

The term "muskroot" can also refer to spikenard Sumbul, also called sumbal or muskroot, is a drug occasionally employed in European medical practice. It consists of the root of Ferula sumbul, a tall umbelliferous plant found in the north of Bokhara in present day Uzbekistan, its range apparently extending beyond the Amur. The Central University of Kashmir formerly the Central University of Jammu and Kashmir, is a university in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is one of 13 new central universities in Jammu and Kashmir established by the Central Universities Act, 2009. It currently offers five-year integrated programs, as well as postgraduate degrees in three areas: MA in English Language & Literature, MSc in Information Technology, and Master's in Business Administration.

Kheer Bhawani

Kheer Bhawani is a temple dedicated to the Goddess Kheer Bhawani (originally just Bhawani) constructed over a sacred spring . The worship of Kheer Bhawani is universal among the Hindus of Kashmir. The temple is situated at a distance of 14 miles east of Srinagar near the village of Tula Mula. The term kheer refers to rice pudding that is offered in the spring to propitiate the Goddess, which became part of the name of the temple.
