Astor River is a tributary of the Indus River and one of the rivers draining the Deosai Plateau, running through Astore Valley. The river originates from western slopes of Burzil Pass. Srinagar Airport

Srinagar Airport, is an international airport in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, India. The airport had undergone extensive renovations, including improving the runway, a new terminal for departure and arrival, air bridges and other operational facilities, and was inaugurated on 14 February 2009 by an Air India flight from Dubai. Seasonal Hajj pilgrimage charters to Jeddah are also operated from Srinagar.

Lal Chowk

Lal Chowk is a city square in Srinagar in the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir. Lal Chowk was named so by Left-wing activists inspired by the Russian Revolution as they fought Maharaja Hari Singh. It is a traditional place for political meetings with Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime Minister, Sheikh Abdullah, Kashmir's first premier and various other Kashmiri leaders having addressed people from it.
